To Apply for the General & Life Membership you should fill-up our Prescribed Form and submit below Documents :

  1. 02 (Two) Passport size Color Photographs.
  2. National ID Card photocopy.
  3. Photocopy of Passport (if Available).
  4. Minimum qualification H.S.C for applying.
  5. General Membership fee BDT. 1000.00 per year & Life Membership Fee BDT. 20,000.00 + Donation BDT 1,00,000.00 (Minimum), You can deposit to our Bank account directly by cash or Pay order and enclosed Bank slip with your Application.
  6. After your Application and Interview, if Approved by Executive committee then officially will confirm your membership.

General Members:

If any person of the Buddhist Community applies under the provision of the Sub-Rule No – 08 of this constitution, and if he/she fills-up the specific form properly may be considered the General Member of this organization.

Eligibility of General Membership:

  1. Any permanent Bangladeshi Buddhist man or woman of eighteen years of age shall be eligible for membership of this organization
  2. Any person who have faith on the activities of this organization.
  3. Any person who have faith on the constitution of this organization.
  4. Any person who is agreeing to pay admission fee and regular yearly subscription.
  5. Any well reputed person and a man of character,
  6. Any person who is agreeing to abide by the rules & regulations of this organization.

Ineligibility of General Membership:

  1. A person who is incapable of putting signature.
  2. A person who is involved in any anti-state and anti-social activities.
  3. If a person is a member of any other likewise registered organization.
  4. Any lunatic and mentally disabled person.
  5. A person who is sentenced from any competent court.
  6. A person after receiving membership has failed to pay yearly subscription consecutively for 6 (six) months.
  7. A person who is engaged in any anti-organizational activities or inspires anybody to do the same.

Procedure of achieving General Membership, Admission Fee and Yearly Subscription of the organization:

  1. As per conditions laid down in sub rules of Rule No-08 of this constitution, any competent male or female of Bangladeshi Buddhist may apply for membership of this organization by paying fixed admission fee. In that case he/she will be treated as the member of this organization from the date of payment of subscription.
  2. After putting up if the application forms receive final approval in the meeting of the executive committee, and then he/she will be considered the member of the organization from the date of payment of admission fee and monthly subscription.
  3. Executive committee will be empowered to recruit new member.
  4. A person will be admitted as general member of the organization after payment of admission fee of Tk-1000/= (one thousand) and yearly subscription of Tk-1000/= (one thousand) only.
